The zoo has more than five thousand animals.
But the zone of major reception in the zoo is the area of panda bears, which are regarded, as China’s national symbol.
The panda bear is China’s National treasure and a symbol of Friendship between the people of China and around the world.
They live in Sichuan and are protected in a Lung National Reserve.
Panda bears are endangered species, which simply means they are at risk of extinction.
It is for this reason that the Chinese Government is now cloning them in reproduction facilities to prevent its extinction.
Panda bears in the zoo are visited by over five million people from the around the World every year.
