Sport is important in the growth of our bodies. That is why it is important for us to get involved in sporting activities.
Tennis is one sport that is fast growing in Zambia.
Last month a group of young tennis players traveled to Ndola for a tennis competition.
Now, young tennis players from Ndola have come to Lusaka for another tennis competition.
We spoke to some of the players and they told us more about the competition and why it is important.
Team manager Andrew Mukupa also confirmed that the competitions is important to the kids because it the helps them refresh will away from school, and also to help the kids interact with each other during the competition.
We hope that this tennis competition will be a success and that the best team to represent Zambia in the Cosafa cup will be selected.

kids in Matero engage themselves in sports

As the school holiday comes to a close some kids in Lusaka have come together for a time of fun and excitement through sports.
The kids are having the games at Matero boys.
Tennis and Basket were the games that the kids were playing. Everyone has a talent while others are great musicians like Mampi others are great dancers and great ball players.
Since schools closed a lot of kids have engaged themselves in different good activities. We were at Matero boys high school and we found a number of children taking part in different sports.
Others were playing basket ball and the rest were playing tennis. We spoke to the kids and they told us more about the games.
The young tennis players sound to be confident. They also had this massage “for all you who don’t part any sport”.
Great to see kids getting involved in sports.
