RED CROSS AND DEC TEAM UP AGAINST DRUG ABUSE

The Zambia Red Cross and the Drug Enforcement Commission have joined hands to fight against drug abuse in Schools.

Recently the two organizations met with members of the Red Cross Clubs from Kabulonga Boys and Lusaka High Schools.


 

Some pupils talked to explained that cases of drug abuse amongst pupils are on the increase hence the need to strengthen the fight against drug abuse.
Zambia Red Cross Public Relations manager James Zulu revealed that drug abuse amongst young people in Zambia has increased. He said it is for this reason that the two organizations decided to launch a campaign against drug abuse.

We hope that this partnership between Red Cross and Drug Enforcement Commission will help stop drug abuse amongst the youths.
