Teachers in various parts of the country are not teaching. This is because they are not happy with their conditions of service. The action by the teachers is what is called a go-slow.

This week pupils from several schools in Lusaka and Kitwe have protested against the go slow.
On Tuesday, pupils from Kitwe Boys High schools and Lusaka’s Munali Girls High school protested against the continued teacher strike.

Apart from the two schools Munali boys and Kabulonga boys joined the protest on Wednesday.
The young people told zed kids news that they are lagging behind in their studies.
The young people have blamed government for the strike and are calling on them to sort out the problem now.
