Zed Kids News at 5 will commence, as a weekly programme,
which will use a magazine format. The programme will be broadcast at 5 PM
every Friday.
We always wanted to have an authentic news gathering and broadcasting
experience programme for kids in the country and that the weekly news
magazine format seemed a more appropriate one to start with.
Our news team is comprised of an energetic team of young
innovative, dynamic and inquisitive members ready to deliver. And that every
person on the team is important and key in making the programme a success.
They have to commit and dedicate themselves in gathering and bringing
interesting news in a professional format and manner.
We hope that the programme during its first years of
broadcast will grow from strengthen and meet the aspirations of many young
people in that the programme will became an integral part of child bringing
and provide guidance on challenges that face the kids ahead of their lives.
Reporters/journalist will suggest story ideas for the
program during their daily editorial meetings that will be discussed,
developed after a child centered angle is identified.
The program will require the full and active
participation of the kids, as key stakeholders and partners to ensure that
the programme meets their aspirations.
